Karmin3 is machined from a solid piece of aluminum, which provides excellent mechanical stability and ensures a long-lasting calibration. Its two image sensors have a native resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels, but can also be operated at 1024 × 768 pixels at an increased frame rate. Both image sensors are triggered though an external trigger signal, which provides excellent synchronization.
