The drive contains Direct-Fed™ CL that helps protect the SCR power bridge against shorts due to commutator arcing and prevents motor demagnetization. 25 Amp SCRs and AC line and armature fusing further enhance reliability. A Plug-in Horsepower Resistor®** is required to operate the drive and eliminates the need for recalibration when used over a wide range of motor horsepower. A 5k ohm potentiometer is included.
