When 24 VDC is connected, the brake will be deactivated and the motor can turn freely. It is only recommended to use the brake only as a holding brake and not as an emergency brake. All brake are equipped with M8 4 pin male connector for 24V control voltage. • Flange screws are not included, we recommend M3x60 • In and output flange is equal Nema17 so a NEMA17 gear can be mounted on the front of the brake but notice the 4 mounting holes are turned 30 degree • With purpose can brake shaft move forward and backward 1-2mm to absorb potential temperature extensions • Pilot diameter is meant to be 27mm and not 22mm which is standard on a NEMA17.
