InGaAs photodiode

These semiconductor diodes known as the Photodiodes is capable of transforming visible light, IR, or UV radiation into electricity with the use of an internal photo effect. These photodiodes are made with SiC and A3B5 as its basic semiconductors and has a particular range from 150 nm up to 2600 nm. It has a wide range of applications such as water purification, flame detection, and supervision of the ozone. It can also function as daylight and tunnel sensors. It can also be used as laser detectors and as a lane departure warning systems.
