超大尺寸的虎钳，比STD虎钳长得多。工作台空间有时很紧，XL型虎钳可以方便快捷地从大开单工位虎钳转换为双夹紧工位。使用双XL老虎钳可以在同一工作周期内加工更多的工件，尽可能利用工作台的长度，这意味着提高工作周期和机器本身的生产率，因为:减少装卸总次数，避免机器不工作时的停机/中断;减少(50%)总换刀时间;降低从一系列工件到另一个不同类型工件的移动时间;降低机械磨损;由于总循环时间较长，操作员可以有更多的时间离开做其他工作。总之，所有这些都意味着提高机器的生产率，因为减少了死机时间/中断，从而更快的机器和夹具的回收期。单XL台钳可以夹紧不同尺寸的工件和板材(用右夹钳)。 The very wide range of widths and lenghts of bases guarantees the satisfaction of the widest variety of works and a big rigidity of the fixture too.
