Structure / Functional principle The reference check is executed by a redundantly configured temperature sensor, where two measuring elements are integrated in the measuring tip. The protection tube is designed with a diameter of ø6 mm or ø8 mm. The electronic installed in the sensor head checks periodically both RTDs -built in the same sensor housing- on their functionality, interruptions or short-circuits.
